Also on the "disappearance" of long-necked animals-- giraffes, ostrich, eastern long-necked turtle, giraffe weevil, etc. still exist. Just a sampling/ perception error I think- also asking like where did all the big man-eaters of nature go? Still plenty alive today, just more conspicuous than the weirder/ more ferocious types we romanticize of dino ages or ice age periods it seems

Horseshoe crab is the best "non-crab crab" lol. As a fossil hunter saw that response to "have we gotten all the fossils?" from a mile away-- only big threat is if it becomes seen as super unlawful in the future/ dystopian and everything covered by a shopping mall or other barrier of course
